General FAQ's

Out Trusted Partners
Is it possible to arrange a face to face appointment?

The Women’s Hormone Clinic does not offer face to face appointments. All initial appointments are conducted via secure video link and all reviews by either telephone or video. We believe that allowing women to access treatment from the comfort of their own home without the stress of travel is extremely beneficial and the feedback we have received from current patients is overwhelmingly positive. This also allows us to offer our services to women regardless of their geographical location.

How will my ID be checked?

On registering with the clinic you will be asked to email a copy of you photo ID (driving licence or passport). A copy of this will be saved in your medical record for future identification purposes.

What if I have questions in between appointments?

If you have a query please contact us or email  enquiries@thewomenshormoneclinic.co.uk  and we will do our best to assist you. Please be aware that medical enquiries may necessitate a review appointment to be addressed fully.

    Emergencies

You can rest assured that there are no medical emergencies specifically relating to HRT. If you are experiencing unwanted side effects please refer to our patient guide and if necessary contact the clinic. If you are unwell and need urgent medical attention please contact your GP or emergency medical services.

    How can I give feedback?

The Women’s Hormone Clinic strives to provide patients with a professional service of the highest standard and we welcome all feedback so that we can continually improve. At the end of your video consultation you will be offered the opportunity to provide feedback using our independent review service Doctify. You are also welcome to contact the clinic by email to ask for a link to this service at any time Details of our complaints policy can be found here.

From time to time we may survey our patients to ask for more in depth feedback on the service we offer – completion of these surveys is purely voluntary.

Will this be covered by my private medical insurance?

Unfortunately menopause care is generally not covered by private insurance policies so treatment must be paid for at the time of service as per our payment terms.
