My Philosophy...

“I want to share the exciting advances in hormone therapy that are having a really positive impact on women’s health.”

Hello I’m Rachel and I believe that a healthy lifestyle, including spending time outdoors, is essential for good physical and mental health for people of all ages and especially for women during the transitional period of menopause. This time can bring about significant changes, and having the right care and support can make all the difference. With proper menopause care, women can continue to thrive and live happy, fulfilling lives.

There are some very exciting advances in expertise around hormone therapy that are having a really positive impact on women’s health now and will continue to do so in the long term. These advancements are helping women manage their symptoms more effectively, allowing them to feel more comfortable and confident during this phase of life.

In addition to hormone therapy, adopting a holistic approach to health can be incredibly beneficial. This includes maintaining a balanced diet, engaging in regular physical activity, and finding ways to manage stress. Spending time outdoors, whether it's a walk in the park, gardening, or simply enjoying the fresh air, can be a wonderful way to support overall wellbeing.

Remember, menopause is a natural part of life and, with the right support and care, women can navigate this transition with grace and resilience. It's important to take the time to understand your body and find what works best for you. By doing so, you can continue to lead a vibrant and fulfilling life.

How I work

I worked for 25 years as a pharmacist in community and primary care both in the UK and in the Caribbean before specialising in menopause care. I work with women to understand their needs and help them make informed choices about what is best suited for them, providing bespoke treatment plans combining hormone therapy and lifestyle support. I work at TWHC one to two days a week and offer online appointments with some evening slots available.

When I'm not Working

I love spending time outdoors and staying active through cycling, running, and beach walks. My passion for travel and adventure inspired me to move to the Caribbean in my 20s. I've visited 50 countries and appreciate discovering new cultures and cuisines. I also really enjoy theatre and live music, which I’ve been experiencing more since returning to the UK.
